Our goal is to provide a place for people to worship, learn and serve. And whatever one’s spiritual place, we want to welcome them in the name of Jesus. Here’s what happens on a typical Sunday morning:
Our worship service begins at 10:00am and generally lasts a little over an hour. (*During the summer months, we change our worship service time to 9am. This takes place from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.) When arriving for the service, you’ll be greeted as soon as you enter the main entrance. You’ll also be given a bulletin that contains the order of service for the day as well as announcements about upcoming activities at Calvary. If you have any questions, please ask one of our greeters (wearing nametags) who will be visible in the foyer when you arrive. It would be their pleasure to assist you.
Children are welcome in our worship service. For older children, special bulletins are available on the table in the foyer. For infants and toddlers, from newborn to age 3, we offer supervised care by screened volunteers in our nursery room downstairs. Children are dismissed to Nursery during the Pastoral Prayer through the end of the service. In addition, we have a designated space for parents and their young children in a room at the back of the sanctuary which provides the ability to listen and have full visibility of the service through a glass window.
After the worship service our pastor will be available to greet you in the foyer and tell you more about Calvary.
Our Sunday School classes seek to provide systematic instruction of the Bible and how it applies to all of life. We believe this is a lifelong process and offer age-specific classes from preschool through adults each week from September to the end of May. Below is our schedule for the 2024-25 Sunday School year.
