Sandy and Meredith both grew up in Virginia. Sandy attended James Madison University and Westminster Theological Seminary, receiving her MAR in Biblical counseling in 1986. She then counseled five years in the Philadelphia area with CCEE Meredith attended the University of Virginia and later worked as an accountant. In the late 80’s, he joined Operation Mobilization, smuggling Bibles and Christian literature behind the Iron Curtain and helping in summer evangelistic campaigns.

Meredith and Sandy were married in 1990, followed by the births of Joshua (3/29/92) and Emily (12/11/93). After Meredith’s time as financial controller at World Harvest Mission, they moved to Europe in 1996, working three years in Austria and Hungary with OM. In 1999, they rejoined World Harvest to build a Renewal and Training Team for Eastern Europe. By planning and leading individual and small group discipling plus church and mission renewal events, Meredith and Sandy encourage renewed faith in churches, leaders and couples, with the eventual aim of partnering in evangelism and church planting.
